Privacy notice

This explains what happens to the details you put into the form on this site.

Who we are

Ryan Hunter, trading as Nexus Alba, based in Scotland, is the data controller for the information collected through this website. You can reach us at enquiries@nexusalba.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

Why we hold it, and our lawful basis

To reply to you and, if it goes further, to quote for work. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it — email us and we will delete your details.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train any AI model.

Who else handles it

Two processors act on our behalf, and neither uses your data for their own purposes:

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where that happens it is covered by the safeguards in UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after 12 months. Where we go on to work together, we keep records for as long as that work needs and for our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to it being used. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email enquiries@nexusalba.com and we will action it within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
